Choices, priorities, and decisions...

We all have them. As a mother of four, wife, and more, I often feel like I'm not able to truly give my best in any one specific area. On Monday night, I was impressed once again on the importance of really "being there" for my kids. After thinking about this a LOT, talking it over with my husband, and praying about what to do...I've decided to step down as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. Please know this has NOT been an easy decision for me, but I feel it is necessary for me at this time. I will still offer the classes and events that are currently scheduled on my calendar through December (http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/kathylogan/events), and will send in my letter of resignation in late December.

I will also have a LOT of stamps and supplies to sell or donate to other demonstrators in the next few months. I'll keep you posted...

My card for Cammie's challenge...

Ok...this is my card for Cammie's challenge. I'm sending it to the Artman Home (where her grandmother lived.) If I can make just a little more time, I want to make another one to send to a home here in the Seattle area where a friend's mom is living with Alzheimer's. This card was made with SU Barely Banana cardstock, whisper white, and Certainly Celery. I used the Embrace Life stamp set, my cuttlebug, and grosgrain ribbon. The inside has a simple "Thank You" stamped in black ink.

What an incredible opportunity!

My friend Jenn started it all this morning by telling me about a blog that is giving away an INCREDIBLE prize package of blog candy (stamping-related items) worth more than $1000! Please check it out at http://myblogbycammie.blogspot.com/ and consider helping them out. Thanks!

I'm off to work on some cards for them myself...

Winning card #2...

This was the second card I entered in a recent contest. I was absolutely thrilled to be voted one of the three winners, and LOVE the prize package I received! It included a brand new package of Stampin' Up! In color cardstock, a package of the star designer brads, as well as three yards each of the new stitched grosgrain ribbons - Yummy!

Winning Card #1

I recently entered two cards in a contest on one of the e-mail groups I'm on, and was one of the three winners! For this particular contest, we needed to submit two cards, both using the same stamp set. One of the cards needed to be a simple card that could be demonstrated at a workshop. The second card was supposed to be a more "wow" card. I chose Flight of the Butterfly for my stamp set, and this was the simpler card.

Finally dragged into the "blogging world"...

Ok...thanks to my friend Jenn, here I am starting a blog. I'm not good at posting very often, but we'll see how this goes. Please feel free to sign my guestbook or leave me feedback on the projects you see here. Thanks for stopping by!
